Many health problems of mother and child can be avoided and possible accidents can be avoided if it is checked in the first stage of pregnancy. Tanya Nasreen, Assistant Professor of Laboratory Medicine at Bardem General Hospital.

Due to lack of certainty and lack of necessary measures to protect the health of the mother and the unborn child, both of them may suffer from malnutrition or any physical problem. Time has moved on a lot now. For this, the woman herself has to take care of her own body and make an unequivocal decision in this regard. Buy modern and affordable pregnancy test kits and test yourself without delay. And pregnancy is not the sole responsibility of women. So the father of the unborn child i.e. the partner must also take effective steps in this regard.

When to test

Now you can test whether you are pregnant or not on the first day of missed period through the latest kit. However, you will get the most accurate results if you test exactly one week after you miss your period. Doing this test too early will not give accurate results. Because, here the result is given by measuring the level of HCG hormone present in the urine. This hormone is excreted in urine only during pregnancy. This hormone is released when the fertilized egg implants in the wall of the uterus.

Usually this process called implantation takes place 10 days after intercourse. And from the sixth day onwards, HCG hormone is found in the urine. But if its amount is small, the test result may not be correct. So if you test 7 to 10 days after implantation or roughly 17 to 20 days after intercourse, you will get good results. If your menstrual cycle is irregular, and you don’t know when your period will be, it is better to take a pregnancy test after 21 days of unprotected intercourse.
